How I draw my eyesby ~Roxoah

A friend asked me how I draw my eyes.

All of this is drawn with the brush tool in paint tool sai. I don't use the eraser; I use the white brush to 'erase'. This creates the paint-y effect.

I start with a black circle -pandas!- and then fill it in with a white circle again which represents the eyeball. Balls are round, so is your eyeball. Depending on where you want the eye to look, you draw the iris as a black circle.

After that's done I start shaping the eye with eyelids. Remember, eyes have various shapes. Almond, slanted, fish eye and so on. I remove the remaining black and then start shaping it.

After that I make a white circle in the iris and fill in the details. I start with the pupil and then add where the other shading goes. I then zoom in and draw small patterns in them running back and forth with a white and black brush.
